I have the world’s worst eye lashes. I don’t know how to wear makeup, I will admit that first off. When I was a kid doing makeup and hair was extremely anxiety ridden. I could never get my hair to work right and remember crying over it more often than not. And I didn’t really have anyone teach me how to wear makeup. My Mom doesn’t. My sister sometimes does. And my friends, I don’t know why, either didn’t wear makeup or just didn’t help me figure it out.

I’ve always been anxious about things I don’t know. Feeling like I should know more than I do. I’m 40 years old, I should know everything about makeup now, shouldn’t I? So it’s hard for me to ask for help.

Anyway I digress. I bought some mascara because I think my eyes are really washed out. I have pale skin, blonde hair, and pale eyelashes. But my eyelashes are thin and when I put mascara on, they point inwards towards my nose. Even without mascara they do that. They also stick together. Maybe I shouldn’t by grocery store mascara? I just don’t know.

Anyway, when I get frustrated I just sit down with some wine coolers and watch some TV and forget about it.

Maybe I’m backwards, but the older I get, the more girly I get. I just bought some new PJs last night that are bright pink and flowery. For summer, and because they are girly. Maybe some women are more girly when they are young and get less girly as they grow older? I dunno.
Anyway, Girly Things is a fun blog to check out. Her name is Angie and she lives in Florida. And she is getting back into her hobbies, one of which is candle making. How fun! I would love to learn how to make candles.

She has another blog called Plus 1 that also has a nice layout and structure and good content. And I really need to check out her post on selling online without fees! Since I sell, but mostly on ebay.
