Well, I’ve been neglecting my regular blogs because I’ve joined the Niche Blogger program and I’ve been devoting most of my time to that. I started about a month ago and I’m having a lot of fun doing it. I haven’t made much money yet but I hope that will start in a month or two. It’s not an instant success by any means. I really want to make money quick but I realize that is not really going to happen… well, I guess by quick I mean within the next couple of months. Not tomorrow. I wish it were tomorrow!
So as a wee update, so far I have three blogs up and running with content scheduled until about the end of April or May, depending on the blog. They get to sit and marinate for a while.
I have another blog I am putting content into, and another idea waiting in the wings.
The goal here is to get 20 blogs going, though that might take me a year to do! And market them and get readers and people to buy affiliate things off my blogs. So we’ll see how it goes. I’m really encouraged about this I think it’s going to really work out. The ideas so far are amazing! It’s all so logical!
So anyway sorry if I neglect this blog in order to do my Niche Blogging. I’ll post when I can!

I love comments, I do! However, here are my limitations:
- Comments with spammy links or spammy text will be deleted. If you post a comment with a link to a business I don’t know about, I will either spam your comment with Akismet or I will delete the link.
- All links inside comments will have the nofollow attribute.
- I like to give my commenters a kickback by removing the nofollow attribute to your site. However, the nofollow attribute will only be removed after you have 10 approved comments. This is done by using Lucia’s Linky Luv Plugin.
- I have the Comment Email Responder plugin as well. Some of the time, when I get time, I will try to reply to your comments directly, on this blog and via email. If you think this is spammy I apologize and if you tell me (leave a comment here) I will no longer reply to your comments.
Thanks for your patience!

I mess around with my blogs all the time. Recently I added the OioPublisher.com plugin, which lets people buy ads directly from me and they don’t have to go through a middleman. Of course I have had no purchases as of yet… but I have hope!
I’ve reduced my number of blogs from 5 to 3. I couldn’t keep up with Five blogs. Three is doable and I seem to always have something to say on each of them.
TatumTot.com is Tatum’s blog.. and I think I’ve helped her design it and get the ad spots going nicely now! Maybe I’m done with it…? I hope so. I’d like to be done with it and just post and read. I like her theme, and her layout, and all the tidbits in the sidebar, so I think she’s finally good!
TipTail.com is my dog blog where I talk about my dogs and training and stuff… and it needs a serious makeover. I like the theme I’m using there, but I don’t like the colors. I’m so bad at matching colors though that using a predone theme is better for me. Maybe I should look around and see if there is another theme I like better than the one that is there. And I have to get the ads all working right and formatted right too. But that’s for another day!
This blog, Luna Tail, I like the skin and I like the tidbits in the sidebars and I like the ad placements! So I think this blog is doing well, too.
So next I’ll be updating Tip Tail and hopefully that won’t take me too long!

Luna Tail lists advertisements from Project Wonderful, and also we offer direct ads through Luna Tail itself with the Oio Publisher plugin.

Okay.. I am still trying to understand and use OpenIDs. At long last, I think I finally understand.
So an OpenID has to be in the form of a URL. Big thing that was tripping me up, lol. And there are places where you can register your OpenID and they kinda are like an OpenID host. You sign up with them and they give you an OpenID that you can use to log into various websites that support OpenID.
I like Beemba so far. I have my own Beemba OpenID. So when I go to various websites, I use my Beemba OpenID to log in (yes, I have to log into Beemba so you can’t, even if you know my Beemba OpenID) and then voila, I’m in via OpenID.
And if you click the link to see my Beemba OpenID, you’ll see various information about me, too. And this is what I’ve been wanting! Instead of clicking my OpenID and seeing just a site, with nothing about me, that’s boring. This lists my FriendFeed info, Twitter, Del.icio.us info, and my website address and my picture of Tatum.
So far, so good!
And now for my relaxing weekend… ha! Well, not so much. Maybe Sunday afternoon. I reserved some books from the library… gonna check out Dennis C Carey too, see what he’s all about. I want some books on CD too to take with me when I got to Laramie the weekend after the 24th of July, so maybe they’ll be some good ones!

Well, today is Easter. It is very early this year. My friend told me, last week, how they figure Easter.. and it’s the first Sunday after the full moon after spring solstice. Well, we just had a full moon, and it’s just barely spring solstice, and so we have Easter!
I’m going to go to my parents today and have some Easter dinner and companionship. So I won’t be around much. I did try to get some Entrecard drops in this morning, though.
Happy spring, too!

Okay so now I’m trying out BlogDesk. Why does it fascinate me to be able to blog from my desktop, instead of from the blog itself? I don’t know.. but it’s pretty slick. And BlogDesk is free, unlike BlogJet, that has a cost, though I didn’t look close enough as to how much it is.
I like BlogDesk… it sorts my categories nicely. I can insert links easily, and it does upload pictures… but I use Flickr and it doesn’t seem to have Flickr support, so I’d have to go in and edit my posts manually, or post from the blog itself, to get Flickr pictures posted.
Not sure if I’ll keep trying Desktop Blogging Software… I guess the Tag API from Wordpress doesn’t work with these programs, and so I have to go into my posts to Tag them after I post. Which, also, seems redundant.
Hrm.

I went and, finally, downloaded a Podcast Receiver today… been wanting to listen to some Radio West podcasts and I keep forgetting to get them.
I downloaded Ziepod. I used Juice a while ago, but I liked the look of Ziepod and I also like how I can minimize it to just a bar on the desktop… kinda like winamp. Though I like the name, and the lemon, on Juice better.
So far so good for Ziepod. And I got to listen to the podcast I’d been hoping to for a while. In Defense of Food with Michael Pollan. I see his book, An Omnivore’s Dilemma, is for sale as an audiobook. I am going to have to see if I can rent it from the library.

Okay, after long last I finally get del.icio.us. And I have my own account, too. And, on top of that, it’s actually organized.
Go figure. Me organized. LOL.
Mainly I finally get it because of this plugin for Firefox. It lets me sync my Firefox bookmarks with del.icio.us, and there is a bookmark window I can open in FF to access my del.icio.us bookmarks.
So I’m off and running with del.icio.us. One less thing to backup in preparation of my laptop crashing, which I’m sure will happen again one day much to my dismay.
And, the plugin lets me open the bookmarks in tabs. Which I’m using to hit a number of Entrecard sites every day. Well, not every day. And only when I remember. And not with all 3 of my Entrecard accounts… but hey, I’m trying.
And if my sprained ankle doesn’t heal up soon, I’m going to need a stair lift to get up and down the stairs at my house. Ugh. My ankle needs to heal!

Well, I’m trying to blog from my Desktop. Currently I’m using BlogJet. Mainly because it has Flickr Support and I haven’t seen any of the other programs have Flickr support. Now that all my pictures are on Flickr (to save space on my VPS), I really need the support.
So this is a test post from BlogJet to see how it works. The downside of this app is that it has a price. 30 Free Trial, but then it costs. And I’m not sure I want to pay, when I can post from Wordpress for free.
It seems to have both category and tag support, too, which is nice, but it’s not pulling up the current Tags I have in my blog, and I wish it did.
I’ll try it for 30 days and see what I think.
