Ideally, I would have the following vehicles in my house: The Minivan for dog sports and other dog things; two small commuter cars that get awesome gas mileage for my husband and I to go back and forth to work; and a towing vehicle that’ll tow our trailer and we can go camping with that will also fit all six dogs safely in crates. And, Ideally, we’d have a four or five car garage to put them all in!
Unfortunately we don’t… we have the minivan and my husbands car. But.. there is a contest going on to win a 2009 Civic Hybrid. Now THAT would be an awesome commuter car. You (and me) just have to go to Charter to register for the contest.
If you go there and you are interested in their internet service too, you can check that out. They have savings on television, high speed internet, and telephone service. I need to check out that telephone service ’cause I keep going back and forth of whether to get my husband a cell or not, and cancel our land line. But not sure what we are going to do about that yet.
Anyway, I do want a new car, and I’d LOVE to get a hybrid. I would feel much better about the environment that way!

Okay.. I have to stop spending money. It’s down to the line. My credit card is getting tough to pay off every month, I’ve been putting too many charges on it. And with the husband not working, my savings is dwindling and I really need to start to save. And the new Minivan didn’t help, of course!
Of course if you are a business, or have a business, it makes it so convenient to accept credit cards as well as checks and online payments. And of course finding a good solid company to help out with this is critical. I’ve always wondered how companies get free credit card processing, well, this website, these Online Check.com guys, will tell you how it works, and be honest with you about it. They have a free trial, a free credit card machine, and honest talk.
And so I better get to saving my money and paying my darn bills. Bleh. I also have to redo my budget. I did end up refinancing the minivan, at 4.75%, and I left the mortgage alone.

I love camping. We’ve only been once this year. I do so many dog things anymore that I don’t have much time for a weekend of camping, and I really need to make the time because I love it so much. And I’m always looking for good camping gear, I love to buy camping gear! Heh, I just love to buy things. wall tents are great to have camping, when we did astronomy a friend had one, kept it heated, and it was a great place to go.
Outfitter Wearehouse is a website to buy great camping gear. They are easy to navigate, and you can find lots of tents and stoves, as well as accessories for both. Our trailer has a stove with, but a friend of ours has a nice big stove that he sets up during flyball tournaments, and cooks everyone breakfast. It’s great. We should get one of those since we like to cook too. Well, the husband likes to cook, and it’s fun to provide breakfast for our camping partners!
Outfitter Wearehouse also has Product Guides for tents, wood camp stoves, stove care tips, and more. So if you are looking for a great place to find information about stoves and tents, you might just want to check them out!

Bahahaa.. so, do you flirt? I like to flirt, and still do it sometimes even though I’m married. It’s kinda fun and the husband doesn’t mind. Plus, I think it’s cute when he flirts as well. Makes us feel good about ourselves, I think. And that is a bonus. We are married, not dead, you know! Going on now is the Extreme Style by VO5 flirting contest… so if you want to join up, go and have a look and have some fun!

Me, I often flirt with my dogs! LOL and this is a fun flirting look that I give to Muffit. He likes to lick, and I like to oogle with him, and so this is what we do!
What other kinds of flirting are there, which are non-verbal? Well, there is the touch, of course. A casual touch to the arm or shoulder or hand, that you wouldn’t really give to anyone normally, but you will do with someone you are flirting with. There’s footsies under the table, but that is a little bit much for me! What kinds of flirting do you do?

Anyway, so have some fun flirting, and feel free to sign up for the flirting contest too! You might even win, and that’d be awesome!

I drive a lot to do my dog sports with my dogs… unfortunately gas prices are having an effect on us. Are they having an effect on you? I’ve heard that in smaller towns people are going into serious debt because they can’t afford to pay their bills and the gas prices at the same time.
Some people are even in danger of losing their homes.
Even school kids are needing help getting to and from school, and the program Divide The Ride can help out. They match you up with people who can drive kids to school. And they match you with people you know so you don’t have to worry about sending your kids off with strangers.
The world is too dangerous anymore, so being with people you know and trust is very important. This service has been on the news, too… the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. It is an interesting service!

I am very supportive of the wonders and amazing things that stem sells have the potential for. I’m not pregnant myself, but I had to post about this cool service out there that will store your baby’s umbilical cord, and the associated stem cells, in case they are needed at a future time. The Cryo-Cell Innovative Stem Cell Solutions provides this service and what an amazing idea it is.
Their Cryo-Cell’s "Protect Baby, Protect Mom" service will allow for the storage of the cord and the stem cells for potential use against disease in the future. And with medical technology growing by leaps and bounds, these cells could become invaluable.
They also have a "Protect Baby, Protect Mom" Special Limited-Time Introductory Offer, so if you are planning on delivering in the near future you may want to check them out!

So check this out… I just entered a Makeover contest for women over the age of 35. yeah.. I am over the age of 35, don’t tell anyone!
The contest is for women who have transformed their lives… and the prize is a $10,000 makeover! I can’t even imagine what that all includes, that’s a ton of money, and I would love to win!
You have to write an essay about how your life has changed, and why you should win. I wrote about my years and years of living for another… for whichever man I was with at the time. How to have any value at all I felt like I had to rescue a man. An unstable, emotionally unavailable man. The grumpier, the better! Well, fortunately I never found an abusive man. I don’t think I would have let it get that far but many, many women would not understand and it would get out of hand.
I ended up transforming my life after years of therapy and going to CoDA meetings. I love my life now, my husband, my dogs.. I wish I had more money, to have more security, but other than that I’m quite happy with how life is! I have passions now, hobbies, I live for myself as much as others, and I have a good balance (well, I hope so anyway, sometimes I think I’m too selfish lol).
Anyway, the contest was really easy to enter and the essay didn’t have to be too terribly long, so if you are over 35 go and check it out! Doesn’t every woman want a makeover? Heck, I just want clothes… lol.

Our flyball team really needs business cards. We don’t do very many demos, but at the last demo we did we were asked, quite a bit, if we had cards to give out. Well, I think we need cards! I’d even do them up I just need our team logo image to put on the cards. And maybe we can get rubber stamps while we are at it!
The place I have used the most for business cards is Vista Print. They have all kinds of things like checks, announcements, and even car magnets. I should get a car magnet for my flyball team, the Thunder Paws! That would be awesome… hm.. I’m gonna have to think about that.
They will make products with your logo on them, or they have their own logos you can use too, if you don’t have one of your own. Their online interface is super easy to use. You can upload your own logo then arrange the wording on their cards and products just to your liking. You can use whatever font you want to, they have a bunch to chose from. And they are fast and efficient, too!
I kinda want cards for my blogs too! He he.

As I’ve posted quite often I run a VPS… which is a Virtual Private Server, for my blogs and websites. So I have to set up the whole darn thing from scratch since it’s unmanaged. And yeah, those messages that come up that say ‘contact your system administrator’ drive me batty because I am the system administrator! LOL.
Anyway, sometimes I get stuck about web stuff and need help, and I love to find good web hosting tutorials that help me get through my problems. And these guys have some good information on good, cheap web hosts. Not all cheap web hosts are created equal.. sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you get more. And this website has some good articles that can help anyone out with webhosting. So if you are wanting more information on web hosts… check it out!

Okay I did it, I signed up for SocialSpark. Yes, with this blog. I’ve been surfing around their website for a few days now… and it took a while for my blogs to be approved. But they have been approved, and now I am a fully fledged member.
So far, I don’t see any really super opps.
Unfortunately. But we’ll see how it goes in time. And the thing I do like is that links, now, will have the nofollow attribute in them. So maybe, just maybe, google will like that better. Not that I really like, or care about, google, but I do make more money blogging when I have PR. This blog does not have PR at this time, which sucks. And all posts (like this one) require in-post disclosure. Personally, I don’t care one way or another about that.
Anyway, so we’ll see how it goes over the next while. I am not sure I like the layout of their website yet. It seems like it’s all Ajax? Is that Ajax? I’m not very familiar with Ajax so I don’t know. And when searching for an opp, if you resort by one of the columns, it resets your filter criteria, which sucks. So you cant sort and filter in the same window, it seems. But I have yet to figure that out.
So it’s interesting. I’ll keep using it and see how I like it. And hopefully I’ll have a more informative review in a while. It does take me a couple of weeks of using a website to really know whether I like it or not!
