So how fast can you type? I took this type test and this is actually low for me, because I stopped typing once the guy stopped talking. I didn’t know I was supposed to keep typing. Usually I type upwards of 85 words per minute with a fairly high accuracy. However with my acrylic nails on I type slower than usual.

So anywhere this is this program called Dragon Naturally Speaking that is a speach recognition software that lets you talk into the computer instead of type. I actually like to type.. as I’m not too crazy about the sound of my own voice, but this is quite fast. You should take the Dragon’s typing speed test! It’s kinda fun to see how fast you type, if you don’t already know.

So according to the Dragon’s typing speed test!… and the results, I spend about 43 hours per month typing. That is quite a bit of time. Instead of typing I could be training the dogs, or playing with the dogs, which would be a lot more fun. Though there is something kinda meditative in typing. I enjoy doing it.

Not sure if you know or not, but I’ve worn corrective lenses since I was in Jr. High. I wear rigid gas permeable contacts because they are the only thing that actually corrects my vision. I have Kerataconus, which means my eyes have very thin and misshapen corneas. I can’t have Lazik or any other type of corrective eye surgery because of my corneas. when I don’t have my contacts in, I wear eyeglasses but they don’t really correct my vision all that great.

So anyway I try to keep my eyes in good health… and that reminds me I need to go in the the eye doc for my yearly soon. But anyway, my prescription for glasses changes a lot. And getting new glasses is always a pain because of it, and glasses are just so darn expensive.

Unless I go to Zenni Optical. They have a great deal on prescription glasses, only $8.00! Wow! They can have low prices because they don’t have a middle man and they don’t have much of an advertising budget. Kinda like that low cost sun tan lotion I guess. So maybe I won’t have to pay $300 for my next pair of glasses. Interesting stuff… looks good to me!

Crap.. I am so out of money, and now I have to spend $20 at the DMV in order to get new plates for my old car, and a new front plate for my minivan. And I need to Order checks… because I’m running out. I don’t usually write checks anymore. Instead I use credit for most everything. Sometimes I write checks when I need to, though. Maybe one or two a month. And I like fun checks, usually I get ones with dogs or animal rescue on them. And I’m going to be looking into Vista Print for checks, as they have a coupon for checks. It’s Checks25 and it’ll give me 25% off Checks now.

Really, I have $23.00 in my checking account for spending money. That is for food and lunches and stuff like that. Fortunately it’s not for my vacation! I have more than that for my cruise… hehe. I wonder if they take checks in the western Caribbean… hrm, maybe travelers checks!

In do like Vista Print though, I’ve bought business cards from them often. And will so again. So why not checks? They have a super easy to use website. And maybe I can use my own logo… ooh that’d be cool!

As you may or may not know, my laptop (which is my main computer) runs Windows Vista. So far, it’s been a pretty good operating system. At first I liked it a lot. And still, I think I like it better than Windows XP. But then again, I’m one of those users who likes bells and whistles and I like it when things look pretty.

Things can happen with PCs.. bad things, as you may know. Or you may have experienced. I have been required to reinstall my operating system more than one time myself. Even on this laptop. Just the once, when I made the mistake of installing service pack 1 for Vista. It broke my sound driver and I could not figure out how to fix it, so a reinstall was in order.

If you have problems with your installation of Windows Vista, you can always try to call their customer support line. Businesses and individuals alike have access to Windows Vista support. I have never talked to them, myself. But they are available. My husband is usually my windows support guy. He’s awesome and usually knows the answer to all my problems!

Yeah I know, I know… I am stressed, and I don’t know how long it’ll last, so I needed a break and I headed off to the Vista Print site and had a look at their Self Inking Stamps, which are very cool. I recently bought business cards for my flyball team from Vista Print. They did a good job though there’s a rim of white around the color, which I’m going to have to have a closer look at next time I decide on getting cards from them.

I love self iking stamps and I’d love to stamp everything and everyone on the forehead with a stamp… LOL, but people don’t usually like that too much.

I haven’t been in much of a blogging or working mood for the last couple of days, just in a surfing mood and a reading mood. So really if you want good quality merchandise with your logo on it, Vista Print really is a good company. I have bought from them before, and I plan to buy from them again.

I’ve wanted a hot tub for as long as I can remember. We could put one in our back yard… it’d actually be great to remodel the back yard and make a nice gazebo with a hot tub, get some nice hot tub accessories, and fix up the yard.

We have the room, really, so maybe we will! A friend of mine has a really nice spa in her back yard. It’s under their deck and they keep it running all year round. It’s nice to go and visit and sit in their hot tub!

If I were to get a hot tub, I’d love to have a SpaScenes. They totally transform the look and feel of the spa. They are a landscape cover that goes on the inside of the spa cover. So when you fold it up, it’s a gorgeous scene that really ads to the hot tub experience.

Bahahaa.. so, do you flirt? I like to flirt, and still do it sometimes even though I’m married. It’s kinda fun and the husband doesn’t mind. Plus, I think it’s cute when he flirts as well. Makes us feel good about ourselves, I think. And that is a bonus. We are married, not dead, you know! What other kinds of flirting are there, which are non-verbal? Well, there is the touch, of course. A casual touch to the arm or shoulder or hand, that you wouldn’t really give to anyone normally, but you will do with someone you are flirting with. There’s footsies under the table, but that is a little bit much for me! What kinds of flirting do you do?

Okay.. my cruise isn’t until October, but I’m starting to get excited! And really it’s only three months away now. I have to go get recertified for scuba diving as I have a scuba dive planned in Grand Cayman. I have always wanted to go to the Cayman Islands so I’m pretty excited about it.

I’m flying into Tampa with some friends, and we might need a car rental once we get there. I always am looking for the best deal on car rentals, as it’s not my most favorite part of the trip. Advantage has some specials on Luxury and Convertable Car rentals. Up to 50%. But I don’t like convertibles… ever since my second rollover I’m afraid because there is no hard shell over my head.

I gotta get that scuba going, and get my Harry Potter Robes cleaned as I’ll be there over Halloween!

I think this is kinda odd… once in a while I’ll blog for Pay Per Post… which is a subsidiary of Izea, a social media advertising company. And they have asked me to blog about Pay Per Post… www.payperpost.com, which I think is odd because they recently started Social Spark, their new company, and I thought PPP was on it’s way out?

Maybe not. I hope not. I like Pay Per Post better. The layout is great, it’s easy to navigate, and they need advertisers! I wish they would have more dog and animal advertisers. And when they do, I wish I could snag them. Because I know a lot about dogs and dog health and dog training.

Dangit, the left click button on my mouse is being flaky. When I forget about it, I keep clicking and I wonder why my laptop has locked up! Especially since I just reinstalled Vista on the darn thing. I have to remember that no… it’s my mouse. But I really don’t like the touchpad and so I’m suffering through the mouse for a while.

I’ve been restoring backups of my pictures from the last few years. I’d post more, but I don’t know if you’d really relate to the old pictures like I do. I’m just so glad I have reliable hosting and good backups! If I were to get shared hosting again, I’d be checking out Web Hosting Geeks because they have independent reviews and lists of good cheap web hosts. And charts and comparisons are my favorites, because I like to be able to compare packages. That is a very useful thing in a website and I recently used something similar in order to pick a photo gallery for my web cam page.

Maybe I’ll post more old photos anyway… because I like them! And I love to reminisce.
