I’m finally painting the spare bedroom!

From Blue to Orange

After living in this house for 10 years… I don’t know why I avoided that room for so long. Now, after the first coat of paint, I feel like that room is mine. I’ve claimed it. I need to stake a flag in it!

Here are some pictures mid-stream of the paint job. I don’t like the blue. I like blue as a color, but for some reason I don’t like it on the walls. I dunno, just weird of me I guess. And I know this sunset orange is a bit dark, but I like dark! And I like color!

Above is the final product! Yay! I am so excited! I get to go buy a real bed frame for that room too. I don’t know if I’ll buy a mattress… my husband said I should. Good thing we are refinancing. LOL. But we have a mattress that we could use so I’m really not sure.

After all this work I’m going to need some good anti wrinkle face cream to smooth out my skin. I’m all dry and icky and painted… yeah I get almost as much on myself. No pictures of orange me though!
