Well, I’ve decided to stop taking the anti-fungals and the antibiotics that I’ve been on since April. Mostly because I feel a lot better… not 100%, I still have the weird pain like sensation under my skin a lot of the time, but Ibuprofen actually helps so that’s a good thing.
But I have felt really hot all summer, and even into the winter. I’ve also been gaining weight even though I’ve been eating really well. And I finally have decided that I think it’s due to the Diflucan. I stopped taking it a couple of days ago and I feel a heck of a lot better now. I don’t feel so numb all over my skin, and my temperature seems to have normalized. The hot that I felt just seemed unnatural. And I haven’t read anything about weight gain and Diflucan… or being overheated on Diflucan, but the over heating is mostly gone and I think my weight will drop now, too.
I think I have beat the Candida for the most part. And even if I haven’t I know how to control it now, and get rid of it again if it comes back. And I’d like to get another Western Blot Lyme test but I don’t want to bother going to the doctor again, so I’m going to assume I’ve beaten that, too.
All in all I feel better. I’m doing some relaxing for my neck, too, which is helping a lot. And I’m taking it easy. I don’t have any dog sports weekends until the end of January and I’m really loving just being home and relaxing. Well I do have a short ASCA Obedience trial in December, but it won’t be all day so that’ll be nice.
So I hope I’m fine again and still on the way to recovery. Hopefully I won’t come down with H1N1 or anything like that!
