I have just passed the two-week stage. I felt so unwell the first week. I think it was such a shock to lose so many things I liked all at once - coffee, wine, chocolate... around about day 10 the dreadful sugar cravings I had started to ease, but they have not gone entirely. I have had some fruit: the occasional green apple, and berries. I really think I would have gone mad without that!

Am beginning to feel so much better, and that's what I am trying to keep in mind. But it's my birthday next week...and I, for one, would like to have a glass of wine then! It's so tricky, isn't it? Do you still crave cocoa, or has that eased?

Good for you!

For me the first week went well, I was craving less and feeling more energy and then family was in town and it all went out the window.

Trying again though...
