Getting the most Bang for my Points

I joined Weight Watchers and have been following it since I got back from my cruise. Last week I had two cheat days… which was bad. I was planning on only one but then two ended up coming out of the blue. Mainly because I went to lunch at work both days I worked last week. And that ends up giving me too many calories.
So anyway I can eat 21 points a day. At about 50 cals a point (that is not exact, the formula depends on fat and protein too) that’s not a lot of food. I am not really hungry, though. But I need the structure to follow or else I end up eating way, way too much. If I don’t write down what I eat, at the end of the day I don’t remember what I ate at the beginning of the day and so I eat more than I should.
I’ve been quite good at eating only my points. And my weight is dropping, yay! So now instead of eating a piece of toast with butter and jam for 4 or 5 points, I think heck, I can fill myself up a lot more for the same number of points if I eat a huge salad! So I am learning about how to fill myself up with less food.
Tomorrow will be hard, I’m going to my parent’s to make Marzipan. And I love that stuff. My sister will be there, though, so hopefully she will help me not eat all that yummy stuff! Ugh!

It’s great that you are watching what you eat to lose weight. Are you also exercising on a regular basis? I have lost 25 lbs by eating fat burning foods combined with daily exercise and cardio.
