Yup I Drove It

Trailer and Blazer I did, I drove in my Dad’s Chevy Trailblazer and pulled the trailer up to Idaho Falls and back! Actually, it was cake, and I wasn’t nervous at all! Well okay, I wasn’t nervous on the way home. I was a bit nervous on the way up there. :)

It was fun.. this is a picture of when we got home. My Dad’s Blazer is very nice, I hope I got all the dog hair out of it… well, all that I could anyway. :) I do wish I had a camping vehicle like this, with the clearance, but only used for camping. If I get a minivan, which I’m thinking of doing, it might not have as much clearance as I’d like.

I contacted a lawyer today, too, about the car accident. Allstate still wants to repair my Outback. I still want a minivan. Maybe a South Carolina injury lawyer would help. I’m going to the doctor on Friday to get an opinion of my back and neck. When I was driving home my arms were going numb. And when I lay on my back my arms go numb still. Not a good thing at all.

The insurance said they will repair my car to factory specs. But I still have my doubts, and I’m not sure I’d feel safe in it anyway. And so… the car saga continues!

On this day..

Hey, good for you! I’m so glad you weren’t too nervous on your drive. Sounds like that part may be improving. I’m also glad to hear you’re going to the doctor. Good luck with the attorney.

Sorry to hear that Allstate is giving you the run around. That always sucks. Make sure you are feeling 100% before you sign off on your injury though.

Is Allstate your insurance or the other lady’s insurance (she was charged with the accident, right?).

FWIW, I love my minivan (I’ve had several, but my all-time favorite was the Chevy Venture). My friend had a Sienna years ago, but I didn’t like it as much as I liked my then Caravan not to mention how much more expensive Toyotas are. Mini vans are not known for holding their value, so you might want to look at which models hold it better before you decide on one. The Venture held it’s value pretty good (for a van) and was dependable as all get-out. Chevy doesn’t make the Venture any more which is a bummer and I don’t know anything about the model that’s replaced it.

Good luck with it all. I don’t envy you the hassle you’re going through.

Hi Margaret… Allstate is my insurance, her’s is Met Life. And yeah, she was cited for the accident at the scene.

Thanks for the minivan info, too. :) I’m looking at Hyndais and the Kias now too!
