I Hate Captchas

Okay who invented Captchas anyway? That guy (or gal) should be taken out and shot. I hate the darn things. Not that I can’t see them.. but half the time I get them wrong, it seems like. And the other half I just hate having to type the darn stupid things in there to get my whatever to take.

I know I know, they help prevent spam. But aren’t there other ways to prevent spam? I don’t have a captcha on any of my blogs, and yet I can catch and handle spam just fine thank you very much.

Do you like Captchas? Do you have one on your site? I’d rather have to stumble over cardboard boxes than use a captcha anywhere on my site!

They are definitely annoying as hell. But I do like the fact that they help fight spam. LOL

I was just reading that some people have figured out a way around captchas and the computers seem to have a 8% chance of getting them right. Sometimes I feel like I have about an 8% chance of getting those darn things right!!!

ooooh I hate them too! I use askimet and that works just fine for me. Its not like some smutty porn advert is going to get through that and I can take care of it from there.
