Catalog Choice – Stop Receiving Unwanted Catalogs!

Sooo.. I was listening to NPR the other day and they did this little blurb about this online website called Catalog Choice.

My husband usually gets our mail and he throws most of the catalogs away, as I have asked him to do. I have a nasty habit of seeing ones I like and then buying things that I don’t need and can’t really afford. But this service, Catalog Choice, lets you go online and stop catalogs from being delivered!

Way cool. I signed up, I’ve already put in a half a dozen catalogs. One of them isn’t working with Catalog Choice but I sent them an email and will deny their catalog too. I’d forgotten how many junky catalogs we get since I asked my husband to throw them away!

I found it easy to stop the catalogs I no longer wanted with Myjunktree...and I normally received a confirmation email directly from the company within 48 hours letting me know I was off the list. I stopped more than just the catalogs, I stopped the credit card offers and other junk mail.
