Great and valid points. I totally agree with you. I will also place your link in my post. Thanks for participating I also as I said in my post think this should not be made illegal but it should remain an option for all who need it. It's hard to understand what might push a person to make such a decision until you have lived it yourself. That's why I think it is disrespectful and stupid to judge others for the decision they make for themselves Shanti's last blog post..I am Pro choice, I choose life

I’m not Pro Life in the sense that most avowed Pro-Lifers are… I believe you just can’t take control of a woman’s body away from her just like that. But I do believe the amount of pregnancy terminations we have are too many and mostly for ill-begotten reasons so there has to be serious compromise and it must include heavy, heavy education for young men and women about how to prevent unintended pregnancy, the costs of unintended pregnancy and the joys of intended pregnancy.

Anything else is just going to continue the same ol, same ol arguments.

I think women should have a choice as well. But I also believe that people need to be more responsible in their actions prior to getting pregnant. When you have unprotected sex, there is a chance you are going to get pregnant. By not protecting yourself you have made your choice to allow a pregnancy to occur. That is when your choice takes place. This is the education we need to give to all our youth. That said, I do believe that abortion is ok when there has been incestuous relations or rape.
