I Am Officially Out of Money

Money sucks. I am officially out. I had a savings account for my kitchen, but that has been drained and there is only $29 in it now. It had gotten up to about $5,000. I have been spending too much money. Mostly doing dog things. Well, my money is just about gone, so I can’t spend any more. I canceled my Weight Watchers account, my Netflix account, and my Gevalia Coffee account.
Plus my car’s air conditioner went out a month ago.. $400 to fix. Brakes were not good… $500 to fix. My car getting hit when I was doing flyball down in St. George Utah… $500 to fix (insurance deductable). And the kicker.. $1500 we owe in taxes. About a third of which was from my blogging earnings.
We don’t itemize because the interest in our house is not enough to get us over the standard exemption. But I’m going to call a tax guy… I donated a heck of a lot to Utah Collie Rescue last year, maybe that will help. And I increased the amount of taxes taken out of my paycheck, maybe I need to increase it more. Yuck.
I hate it when all this stuff happens at once. So when I go to Colorado tomorrow, I will have $100 cash on me, and $200 in my paypal account I can access with my paypal debit card. That’s it. I cannot buy much of anything but food and gas.
Hrmph.
YUCK! I suggest you start putting part of your blogging earnings into a special “tax” account. I know I am doing that this year!

Money sucks!! I really hate it. Mostly because it prevents me from doing all the fun dog stuff that I really want to do. Those dogs just get sooo expensive!!!!!
Fingers crossed things get better for ya! Oh and have fun in CO! Traveling on a small budget can be stressful but still fun!!

Ugh! I hear ya… after we had the girls spayed we totally wiped out our savings.. mostly because Qor needed two eye surgeries after that.. (that spelling can’t be right)

I do have to remember I’m on a budget. I have a hard time with that when I’m out and I feel like I should splurge.. but I just cannot!
