CynthiaI am so excited, I got makeup samples yesterday from Leigh over on Eternal Flux. She sells Mary Kay and she’s helping me get starting in makeup.
Yeah yeah I know, 40 years old and just barely starting wearing makeup. Well, so, I’m late! And since I love my hair now, and it’s short and blonde and pretty… I really need to spruce up my face to match.
I do have some personal dilemma’s about makeup… most of my life I have fought it, too, because I really think women should be thought of as beautiful while they are natural. And makeup covers up a woman’s natural beauty.
But as I get older, and more confident in myself, I want to look pretty. And girly. And maybe makeup is just a part of that, just like a nice dress or a fancy hairdo.
Either way, I just don’t really care… lol because now makeup is being fun. And I just want to be happy. I won’t be wearing makeup when I’m at agility trials.. well, unless the mascara is really good and won’t smudge, my eyes are so light they just need to stand out!
