This will be my last post probably until about Monday. I have all my blogging assignments done, I packed last night, and I’m ready to go.

I’m going to the Clicker Expo in Los Angeles. I’m excited. I’ve been wanting to go to one of these for years, ever since I started reading about clicker training!

I hope there is not too much cool stuff to buy… because I just am low on money! I need a raise. But that’s nothing new. I’ll have my laptop with me but if I blog, it’ll be over on Tip Tail, my dog blog, since this is all about dog training.

Anyway.. talk atcha next week!

So last Sunday my husband and I went over to my parents house and helped them rip up their old carpet and move furniture. Because they laid new carpet on Monday. Well, I don’t have any pictures of the new carpet yet, but I figured I need to post pictures with my new camera that are not dog pictures, so here are carpet pictures! I like the old carpet, though.. I’m rather attached to it. Or I was, since I grew up on it. I remember pretending it was water when I was a kid, and I was a mermaid and would jump in and out of the water-carpet.

And this is a picture of my sister taking a picture of me taking a picture of her. LOL. I don’t know if she has posted up her version, but she should, and we can compare pictures. LOL. And that’s the back end of my Dad over there, doing something, maybe with the vacuum. I have some pics of my hubby, too, that I need to get up.

But I keep saying I’m going to leave town tomorrow, which I am.. so not sure how much I’ll post when I’m gone!

Life really is being relaxing for me, now. And there is not much on TV, so I haven’t been watching much. And the server has moved, I do have to do a couple of cleanup things but it’s basically all done.

Dog training is an ongoing process, and will be so throughout my life. Which is good.

So… when I have nothing to do, I don’t know what to do with myself. It’s really weird. I no longer have anything to worry about in life.. my husband and I are doing well, the dogs are healthy (knock on wood), my family is going strong.

So sometimes I just don’t know how to deal with the silence. I like the silence. I like to relax. I like not having messy codependency and rotten relationships in my life. Now I can really focus on going forward, advancing in those things I care about, instead of just getting out of bed in the morning and struggling through the day.

It’s like when society goes beyond just hunting and gathering and surviving, and is able to develop culture and art and science, and have leisure time.

And so now I learn how to relax. How to have culture and art and science.. and relax. And the days go on. And maybe I can find some Pigeon Forge cabins in my future, if I decide that is where I want to go.

Speaking of going, I’m going to be going to the Clicker Expo in Los Angeles, leaving tomorrow. I may or may not be able to blog from there. I’ll be busy, I’m sure. But I do hope to bring my laptop. I’ll be back late Sunday!

That place between Sleep and Awake. A line from Hook sticks in my memory. Because I do get stuck in that place, quite often, and it’s really hard for me to pull myself out of it a lot of the time.

I just wallow in that place for the longest time until I force myself to come fully awake. Even after a nap. While sleeping on my mattress or on the couch. Doesn’t matter.

And, I will be going out of town for the next few days, won’t be back until Sunday, so this blog will probably be sleeping until then!

Oh no! When I had to get up to go to the bathroom last night about 2am, I know I was having a dream. Dangit.. it was interesting, too. But now it escapes me. Dogs… it was about the dogs, I remember that. And I think flyball… perhaps about the Townhouse my flyball team, the Thunderpaws here in Utah, is going to rent in Vegas when we go to a flyball seminar, our captain found it while looking for Vegas hotels…

Hrmph. It really bugs me when I don’t remember a dream, especially when I know I had one!

Well this isn’t a dream.. but it is a good cause. Giving a car donation to help out Car Angel Ministries to make videos for kids not only benefits the charity, but also benefits you, as you get rid of an old car!

Well I got a lot done today. Did some dog training, bought some dog food, got a Mammogram (never fun), and now I’m home. I also sent in my flyball seminar entry for Tatum. They are having a green dog seminar on Friday, and I’m excited about that. So now I have to make sure I can have it off work, the extra day, but I don’t think that’ll be a problem.

This is a short week for me. Going to LA on Thursday. I hope it’s warm there. Will be a nice change from getting dumped on with 2 inches of snow per hour today. It was nice not having to go in to work, though, that’s for sure. We need a corporate relocation here, a building not in the capitol would be nice! Something closer to home. Oh well, wishful dreaming.

And dangit, I was going to write about something else and now I forgot what the heck it was. Gah! Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

Wow.. I went to dog training today, to practice on my own.. and it was very windy going there. After the hour was up, I looked outside and there was a major snow storm. Driving home took me an hour, to go eight miles, and I got lost on the way! The visibility was so poor I ended up going too far East. I was laughing, it was pretty funny. The dogs seemed to be wondering where we were going, too.

We got about 2 inches in one hour. And it’s still coming down. We will probably keep getting 2 inches an hour for about three or four more hours. Fun! I like the snow. Though I am ready for some spring weather and to get out with the dogs.

I have never been to England but dangit, I really want to go. And when I go I would love to see a show there. But of course, I would have no idea where to buy Tickets to any show, because I’ve never been to England, though I have been to Germany and other parts of Europe.

Viagogo is a website that sells Concert Tickets online, in Europe. Not only in the UK but other European countries as well. I’ve been looking at the Celine Dion tickets, and they have sales for Manchester England, London England, Dublin Ireland, through Denmark and Sweden.

Their site is very easy to use and navigate. They have a wide variety of tickets, including Sports Tickets, too. So if you are looking for a sporting event, musical concert, or other or even Arts and Theater tickets in Europe, it is a great website to go to and find all the information you need.

I would love to see some Theater when I go to England in the future. Maybe in about five years or so. I was in Germany in 2002, and had I known about this site, I would have looked up for some information about concerts or theater that I am interested in.
