CliqIn or BlogRush?

Well I signed up for a couple of social networking sites and am trying them out. I think I like Blogrush better than CliqIn, despite this article, Why Cliq may Kill Blogrush.
Basically, Blogrush is a little widget you install on your blog (Mine is in the sidebar right now, right). You enter your blog information, or multiple blogs, in the Blogrush website and you choose a category, and they display links to blog posts that are also in your category. I like this for Tip Tail because I can find interesting dog blogs. Not so sure about the category for this blog, their categories seem a bit limited.
CliqIn, on the other hand, lets you join a Cliq, or community, and other blogs can also join that are related to that Cliq. To try it out I started a Dog Sports Cliq. I wanted to join another Cliq also but, it seems, you can only join one Cliq. I guess one Cliq, one widget. Which seems pretty limiting to me. There do not seem to be many Cliqs yet, at least not animal related ones. And I don’t know if/how I could add another blog.
Anyway, so I am trying it out for now and see how it goes. In theory it’d be a lot of fun to have many different people join my Dog Sports Cliq, and have a nice big community form in it. But we’ll see how it goes. I don’t like to spam people so we’ll see if anyone finds it!

First off, thanks for linking to me. I’ll agree with you in that, not being able to be apart of other Cliqs while having your own is a bit limiting. I think I should send that in as a feature request. Also, Cliqin requires time to manage. With blogrush, you sort of set it and forget it. I’ve already outlined the other differences within that article but I figured I’d stop by and contribute to your article.

I found your post on yahoo search and found it very informative. I’ll go back and read it again. I would like to be able to include multiple blogs in Cliqin, too, I didn’t see if that was possible.

I think each blog gets it’s own Cliq. So I’m not sure if it would be possible. You could always create one cliq and then manually add your other blogs to that Cliq. That might work.

I hadn’t heard of either of these sites. I’m out of the loop. It’s so hard to keep up with all these various blog widgets/communities, etc.
