Oatmeal Stout

Published by Cynthia at 2:47 pm under Daily Posts

I have a rotten time remembering what kind of beer I like. I got a brief beer lesson today at lunch… hops make the beer more bitter… so a hoppy beer is probably a bitter beer. I don’t really like my beer too bitter, but a little isn’t bad.

So we went to Red Rock for lunch today and I had their Oatmeal Stout. It was so yummy, I had two! And I could feel it going back to work. Not enough to hurt my work, of course. And it’s so nice to be able to work at a job where I can do that. Of course I’m careful, but I can hold my beer just fine thank you!

He he okay sometimes not. But today I did just a fine job and am doing well. It’s even worn off already. I just wonder… okay I don’t want to know, how many calories each of them had. I ate a salad for the meal, though! My weight was 158.2 this morning, so it is, slowly, going down.

tisk tisk tisk. A LIGHT beer, like a bottle, has approx 150 calories. 3 WW points. I cant imagine how many calories are in one of those huge beers at Red Rock. I know, they are SO yummy ! but cut it out will ya :) I lost 2.5 lbs since Monday. It CAN be done :) but I should not talk, today I had one of those big huge cinnemon rolls w/gobs of icing on top. and a bowl of Wendy’s Chili, but thats it All Day. ugh. Remeber….calliflower and carots, heeheehee.
