Firefox and Forms

One thing I definitely don’t understand about Firefox, is how it keeps form data.

I want it to keep form data. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it clears it when I press the clear button, most times it doesn’t seem to clear.

When I leave comments on other blogs I do want all my data to be saved. But it seems like it’ll save the first few things I type in, such as my website URL (I have a few and change URL sometimes), but then it doesn’t keep that form field updated.

So what is the deal? Is it random? Is there some logic I am obviously missing? Hrmph. Would it help me to get some term life insurance quotes?

    Actually I notice that some secure servers do keep my form data. Go figure.
