I Love My Life

As I was lying in bed this morning, getting licked by five wonderful dogs, my husband trying to stay asleep on the other side of the bed… I was just thinking how wonderful my life is now.
I love my husband and my dogs. I have everything I could want (except a million dollars, but I wouldn’t trade my dogs for that). My zoloft is making me feel great, I’m chatty, I have friends, I still get anxiety but that’s okay I’m working on that. I love our little house and our little yard and we have good cars. We have good jobs and health insurance and we are healty. I’ve finally started making good decisions in my life and I have a good life to show for it.
I’m always afraid of things crashing down, but I think I am learning coping skills for if that does happen. And I have a support network now so I won’t have to be alone.
I live in gratitude every day. I am grateful for all the amazing things and people in my life. Of course, writing this, I hope it doesn’t jinx me.

It’s nice to know that there are still people like you who appreciate life to the fullest.

Hi Jules thanks for your comment. I am very happy.. though nervous of bad things happening. But not as much as I used to be.

No, it’s another Chris writing you now.
In my eyes the best thing to do is just to keep whistling! Yes, whistling!
There was this guy named Dale Carnegie and he made this book called”How to stop worrying and start living”. This book changed my life in how I live and view it.
He says that it’s impossible to be sorry about something while whistling. This will always keep you mind in a good place. By keeping your mind occupied with good things, it’s impossible to worry! I do it at the time in the Hospital and people always ask me shy I’m always in a good mood. I always reply “because I want to!”

Hi another Chris.
I whistle all the time, and sing, even if I’m not feeling great. Just habit I guess. Maybe it’s been good for me!

I very much agree about the importance of making good choices. I have put some of my thoughts about this into a few of my blog posts. You can find them by clicking the link on this comment.
