Washing Clothes in the Summer

Washing clothes in the summer is so great. Lately it’s been about 100 degrees during the day. Hot hot. And my office isn’t very cool, either. so I’ve been wearing skirts and skorts and sandals and tanks.

I just put my clothes away and I was amazed at how little there were. :) And hardly any socks! I love it. Sandals rule. Washing clothes is not one of my favorite things. Actually, washing isn’t a big deal, putting them away is a pain in the rear though.

So I have a fraction of the clothes I have in the winter.
Oh I love the hot weather… I wish I had it all year long.

On this day..

You are lucky my office is FREEZING! I just keep a sweater here, so the accumulation of clothes is not too bad…but the office is FREEZING!

    Take Care

My husband’s office is freezing, too, he says it takes him 20 mins in the hot car to warm up!

Yes I always find that our washing loads have a little less bulk to them in the summer since the clothes are lighter.

Take advantage of the hot weather and dry your clothes on a line. You won’t be running the dryer and heating your home and you’ll save a bit of money on your energy bill.

Oh yeah Tricia, usually I like to hang my clothes out. I’ve been busy this year but heck, sometimes they dry faster outside!
