Summer Solstice

It’s today. Happy first day of summer. Today is the Summer Solstice. Again, Wikipedia has a good page about the Solstices and Equinoxes.

I love the summer. I hate being cold. I do like the long dark nights of the winter, but this is summer, and I’m enjoying the long bright days. It’s been hot here, upper 90s, even up into the 100s, but I don’t mind. The dogs don’t like it very much, but I like the heat. :) I’m a hot weather woman. I love to get out of the shower and not dry my hair, just let it dry in the heat of the summer. And I love living in the desert. Dry heat is so much better than humid!

    Good 1st day of summer to you too ! Apologies for not keeping in touch. I thought things would slow down in summer, but they aren’t. Thats okay tho; it keeps me from ‘thinking’ too much :) Love you lots, Chris

    Hi Chris! :) I get slow on email and things, too. Blogging keeps me busy though, LOL, as do the dogs.I actually get a weekend home this weekend! I want to see a movie or two.

    Ooo that is very hot! I like 90s but the 100s are a bit much. :) I do love the low humidity though. I love the hot dry desert. Makes my hair dry so fast.
