First Cleaning Estimate

The first person came over today to give me a cleaning estimate on the house. They would clean 1 bedroom, the living room, kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, hallway. Not really that much. Okay okay we are slobs (I am a slob, but my husband isn’t much better).
They were from The Cleaning Authority. A friend I work with uses them and likes them a lot. They are, however, a bit pricey. Our house is only 1300 Square feet. They want $110 for a once a month cleaning, and $85 for a every other week cleaning. Hrmph. Maidpro, when I used them a couple years ago, was only $60 for once a month.
Though we do have more house now that we fixed up our basement. And we do have the dogs… more dogs now, which I understand makes the house messier.
I have someone coming from Merry Maids on Friday, so we’ll see what they say. An I might get Maidpro back out here, too.
Any other services I can look into? Maybe I should look in the phone book.
