You have a very good post there. I am aware that many (or maybe even all) forms of birth control can have negative side effects on women, but I am appalled by the fact that the Ortho Evra patch is SO BAD, yet it's approved for use. How is this allowed? I can only imagine how devastating it must be to learn you've acquired a heart condition from a drug that's supposed to help you. I know it's easier said than done, but I would really encourage those women that have been hurt by the birth control patch, or other form of birth control, to fight back because this will go on as long as it is allowed. I would like to provide an additional resource for those that would like more information on Ortho Evra.

Hi Jennifer. Oh that is horrible. I hope the lawsuit can help you out. We trust the medical community to take care of us and we end up getting a raw deal. I feel for you. I hope you’ll keep in touch and let us know how things go.

THANKS YOU FOR THE POST. I HAVE BEEN VERY ILL FOR A FEW YEARS NOW AND IT ALL STRTED AFTER USING THAT STUPID PATCH. THE DRS DONT KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG BUT I HAVE A HEART CONDITION NOW THAT JUST WONT GO AWAY AFTER 3 STUPID OPERATIONS THEY CANT SEEM TO MAKE IT BETTER. I DID STOP USING THE PATCH AFTER I KEPT GETTING SICKER AND SICKERI THOUGHT IT WAS THAT CAUSING ALL MY PROBLEMS AND NOW READING THIS I DO TRUELY FEEL THAT IT DID CAUSE MY PROBLEMS THAT I HAVE TO LIVE WITH FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, THAT SUCKS NOW BECASUE I HAVE A STUPID ARRYTHMIA THAT JUST CAUSES ME TO GET SO SICK I HAD TO QUIT MY JOB I CAN DO THINGS ANYMORE OH AND THE BAD THING ABOUT IT ALL IS I AM ONLY 33 AND THIS STUPID CRAP STARTED A FEW MONTHS AFTER USING THAT PATCH I USED IT FOR OVER A YEAR AND WELL THATS WHAT I GET OH WELL LIFE GOES ON
