Lawsuit against Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch hits close to Home
I heard about a law firm seeking women to provide information about their experiences with the
Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch. There is a class action lawsuit building and they are trying to identify anyone that is eligible for follow up treatments and possibly a cash settlement for damages. Some women are suffering from blood clots and there has even been one woman that died as a result of the patch. There are women all around the country that have tried this patch and now we are starting to learn that it may not have been as safe as it was promoted to be or that some doctors have prescribed its use in ways that weren’t tested.
When I read about this lawsuit it made me think of my own experiences and struggles and how much the system, including pharmaceutical companies and doctors, in a little bit of desperation, pushes you to try anything.
My Background with Birth Control Solutions to fight PMS
Since I was in my mid to late twenties I’ve been struggling with PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome). I’m forty now, so that is almost half my life. I have gone to various doctors and gynecologists to find out what was wrong with me.
Mostly, the Gynecologists would suggest The Pill. All types of birth-control pills. Including the
Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch. I never tried the Ortho Evra patch for birth-control, but I did try the pill. There is only one birth-control patch on the market, did you know that? There is only one.
Well, the pill made me feel like I had been hit by a truck. Awful. So what I did was what all women should do, research! I scoured the internet and the library for recourses, information to find out what I could do to help myself. And I found out that I have estrogen dominance. I don’t have enough progesterone in my system. And so I found Vitex Agnus Castus, which has helped me a great deal.
So what’s going on with the Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch
But this post is about the birth-control patch.
From what I read, and I read a lot about PMS and female hormones. And I also read that the Ortho Evra Birth-Control Patch, which puts more estrogen into the woman’s body, can actually do more harm than good. This is also true with the pill. An excess of estrogen can cause blood clots, and may even cause cancer.
There is now a Lawsuit against Ortho Evra, as some women are claiming they have suffered blood clots, and there was even one death that was related to the Ortho Evra Birth-Control Patch.
Many women agree with me when I say that if this were a man’s problem, something would have been done by now. So don’t just sit and wait for someone to take care of you. Us women are strong and intelligent, and need to stand up for ourselves. We deserve it. If you have suffered through any of the negative issues of the birth-control patch, please look into the
Lawsuit about the Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch! Only when we stand up for ourselves and demand to get our issues dealt with, will something happen! No more sitting around and letting the system figure things out. The system won’t. We have to do something about it!
If you are a victim of this misinformation, or have found you have suffered blood clots or other related issues because of the Ortho Evra Birth-Control Patch, step up and join in the
Ortho Evra Lawsuit! Together we can spread the word and get this information out to more and more women.

You have a very good post there. I am aware that many (or maybe even all) forms of birth control can have negative side effects on women, but I am appalled by the fact that the Ortho Evra patch is SO BAD, yet it’s approved for use. How is this allowed? I can only imagine how devastating it must be to learn you’ve acquired a heart condition from a drug that’s supposed to help you. I know it’s easier said than done, but I would really encourage those women that have been hurt by the birth control patch, or other form of birth control, to fight back because this will go on as long as it is allowed. I would like to provide an additional resource for those that would like more information on Ortho Evra.

I agree with the reply from Gibran. Ortho Evra has potentially hurt thousands of women and if so it should not be alowed on the market. If you or someone you know has been injured by ortho Evra you should contact a orthoevralawsuitattorney.com – Ortho Evra Lawyer.
