Communicating with Men

I think it is very interesting how different men are from women. For all of us being human, still, we can communicate very differently.
My Husband is the Most Wonderful Husband in the World. I love him to pieces and we get along really well. When we first got together, we had a weird issue. When he would leave the house, he had no thought to tell me he was leaving, or to say a quick goodbye.
Well, after.. err… four years of marriage and about 6 years of living together, finally I got him to, most of the time, say goodbye. 
And I don’t take it personally anymore. I know he’s not mad or snubbing me, he just forgets.
So it’s funny today. This morning when he went off to work he said goodbye, and I said goodbye, I’m working from home today. He says okay he’s coming home at 9:10ish to get Chase to take him to the vet… so it surprised me when I heard the door open upstairs, Chase runs up and out, door closes, and off the Husband goes. Not a word to me.
*sigh* now it just makes me laugh. I’ll tell him I’d really appreciate a “Hi - Bye” when he does that.
