Okay okay okay! I need to start getting back on track with healthy eating. Since I started this new thing… errr, that’s my secret and I haven’t talked about yet, my appetite has gone down, but so has my ability to really care about much. And so I’ve been eating a lot of chocolate chips and other unhealthy things. But since I don’t eat much, my weight is holding steady.
If I were to use a calorie counter, I wonder how many calories I consume with these chocolate chips. I used to track my calories a lot, using a spreadsheet, but using an online system is easier, and I can do it from anywhere. And it’d be a good way to see what I’m eating.
If I did that, I’d use a free calorie counter.
And then I’d have to start watching what I eat. And making a better meal plan again. I know how to lose weight, I know what I have to do, I know how to eat healthy. I just have to make the decision to do it.
Using MyFitnessPal for calorie counting helps me to watch my calories, and the type of food I’m eating, too. More grains, more fruits and veggies… yadda yadda yadda. You mean not more of the chocolate chip group? Man, but I love that chocolate group. Sixteen Hundred Calories a day is, this site says, what I need to eat to lose 1/2 pound a week. Which would be good for me. A good rate of loss (LOL Sammy is scratching the floor to fix up a bed goofball, he is so cute). I can eat that low, if I eat a lot of veggies.
I signed up with them. Maybe I’ll go have a banana.
