Woo Hoo! We are going to get HD programming. :) The new HDTV Vizio 42″ plasma flat panel has such a completely nice picture with OTA channels (Off-The-Air, basically the local channels broadcasting in HD we pick up with the Antenna). But, we can’t record! We can’t pause! I’m spoiled now, I really dislike commercials.

So the hubby and I talked and we are going to splurge for the HD Bronze Package through Dish Network. Okay, he is going to pay for it. I still have to pay back my kitchen fund the money I borrowed from it to buy the dang TV. :p But it’s a sweet TV!

Monday we will get a new dish, box, and the programming to go live. I’m excited. I stayed up too late last night watching SVU because I wanted to watch it live on HD isntead of recorded on the box that’s not HD yet. :D

I’m excited! I have the best husband in the world.

On this day..

Hey, I know how it is to get spoiled to something like that. We had Tivo, but just moved recently. Right now we’re stuck with SDTV and no way to record or skip the commercials. Loosing Tivo is one thing, but watching TV and movies with High-Def is a real drag. Well, congratulations on the new Vizio. They make a fine HDTV for the money.

Hi hdtv! We have had the TV for a year now and I still love it. And the dish. Way too expensive but I do like my TV. Bummer you don’t have your Tivo now!
